The area of the Kounopetra Cape, at the southern tip of Kefalonia, belongs to the Municipality of Lixouri. You can rent bicycles, canoes, and boats, and enjoy many walking trails nearby or explore the area from the sea. The hotel is also connected by bus twice a day to the town of Lixouri and once a day to nearby beaches. Additionally, you can rent cars or minibuses for longer excursions.

A visit to the picturesque town of Lixouri, just 7 kilometers from our hotel, is a must. In the town, you will find traditional cafés and taverns, beautiful neoclassical buildings, and narrow streets perfect for leisurely walks. Be sure to visit: the central square of Lixouri with the Giant Fig Tree, Rizos Paston Square with monuments of the Revolution, the Church of Saint Spyridon, as well as the Museum – Iakovateios Library, which presents the history and traditions of the area and contains many rare editions.
2. The Gerogompos Lighthouse
